We're 6 months old; here's our gift to you!

On Saturday 27th August we'll have been open for six whole months. Time has flown by and Ken and I have loved every minute: we've loved meeting you, our customers; we've loved meeting and hosting new traders and we've loved treasure-hunting to bring new and exciting pieces for you to peruse.

Over the six months we've been delighted to welcome Simon and his Tea at the Shed tea room - we know you'll agree that he offers the best selection of tea, coffee, paninis, sandwiches, cakes (and gluten free delights), and cream teas in the region. Isn't it great to be able to sit back and relax while you contemplate all the delights that you've seen in our 5000 square feet of antiques, vintage and brocante products? We've welcomed several new traders, we're hosting upholstery workshops and Ken has qualified as a PAT tester. So many exciting things have happened that we're looking forward to the next six months!

So, to mark our anniversary, we'd like to give something back to you:

Pictured above is a Dutch four-drawer stripped pine chest and the lucky winner of our competition will receive this as a thank you from us. All you need to do is:

1. Guess the value (the price that we have this chest of drawers on sale for currently), of the chest to the nearest £1 (GBP).

2. All answers should be sent to: lesley@theshedsuffolk.co.uk by midday on Saturday 3rd September 2016. In the event that we have several guesses that are spot on the mark, we will ask an independent person (a person that does not work, or have any professional association with The SHED, and someone that is not a contestant themselves), to pick a winner at random.

3. The winner will be notified by email within two days of the competition closure, and we keep the chest stored for you to collect at your convenience (we can deliver within the local area by arrangement).

4. Entry emails should contain your full name, address and a contact telephone number as well as your guess in the format "My guess at the current price of the Dutch, stripped pine chest is £(price in GBP)."
